Major crash between city bus and car sends woman to hospital with life-threatening injuries in Southeast Austin, Texas

Major crash involving CapMetro bus, vehicle in Southeast Austin

A serious crash involving a Capital Metro bus and a passenger vehicle closed Grove Boulevard and East Riverside Drive around 6 a.m. Sunday. APD and EMS were called to the scene.
At least two people were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge following a collision between a Capital Metro Bus and a car. Officials say a woman in her 40s was pinned in the passenger vehicle. EMS were able to remove her from the vehicle and transport her to the hospital with critical life-threatening injuries. The bus driver was also transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
