A man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into another vehicle in South Austin on Monday, police say.

According to Police, a Camry was traveling westbound on West Slaughter Lane and made a left turn into an apartment complex. A motorcyclist that was traveling eastbound crashed into the vehicle. The motorcyclist, identified as 26-year-old Nicholas Hitzfelder, was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge with life-threatening injuries, where he died the next day. This accident is still under in vestigation, and APD Vehicular Homicide Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 512-974-6935.
