Andrew Tilin killed when struck by vehicle at North FM 620 and Marshall Ford Road in Austin, Texas

The magazine spoke with Tilin's sister, Tracy Tilin McKendall, who stated that Andrew had a flat tire while on a group ride and was attempting to fix it when he was struck. McKendall says that a passing vehicle skidded on the slick pavement and struck another vehicle which ended up striking Tilin.
