Troopers identify man killed in Lago Vista plane crash
One person is dead after a fiery plane crash in northwest Travis County.
What do you want to do?
Sasser was flying the plane at a low altitude when the plane clipped some trees and power lines and crashed, bursting into flames. Firefighters first got the call as a brush fire. It wasn't until helicopters flew in to assess the size of the fire that they discovered the single engine plane crashed.
