Driver killed in crash into highway pillar
Early Wednesday morning police responded to a fatal car crash on SPID Access Road and Weber. Captain Robert Alvarado says, police received a call around 1:30 a.m. that an SUV crashed into a concrete pillar and a man was trapped inside. When police arrived at the scene the driver, a 23-year-old man, was dead. They did note that gasoline was leaking from the SUV and that no one saw the incident occur.
