Hospital staff told Officers that the female appeared to be 35 weeks pregnant and the unborn child did not show any signs of life.
After an investigation, Officers determined that the driver of the Nissan, Michael Lee (09/11/1998), was intoxicated. He was arrested for intoxicated manslaughter.

As of Friday afternoon, Lee remained in the Nueces County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
