Driver, 56, killed when his pickup crashes into 18-wheeler, Arlington police say
Officers responded to the 700 block of North Great Southwest Parkway around 2:15 p.m. to investigate a crash. Witnesses told them an 18-wheeler was attempting to back into a parking lot in order to make a delivery and temporarily blocked all lanes of traffic. A northbound Chevrolet 1500 “did not attempt to stop and crashed into the trailer,” Arlington police said in a news release Saturday.
