Seven Injured After Five Vehicles Crash Under Dallas Bridge.

Seven people have reportedly been injured after a multi-vehicle crash near I-35E and Eighth Street in Dallas that involved a Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus.

Seven people have reportedly been injured after a multi-vehicle crash near I-35E and Eighth Street in Dallas that involved a Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus.

DART officials said five vehicles crashed underneath the Eighth Street bridge after a red van cut off the bus and then hit the barrier wall. Three people in that vehicle were taken to an area hospital.

DART managers said they were initially told that no passengers were injured, but when paramedics arrived and checked out everyone on board, four passengers complained of various injuries. Those passengers were taken to a local hospital..

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel said three ambulances were requested to the scene.

Police and other emergency crews were on the scene to help direct traffic around the impacted area.
