DEVELOPING: Two killed, one seriously injured in I-10 crash - KFOX - Breaking News, Weather, and Traffic

EL PASO, Texas – Two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday on eastbound Interstate 10 at Transmountain, police said. The crash was reported around 10:30 a.m, and police said three vehicles were involved. All eastbound lanes in that area will be closed for the next several hours as emergency crews respond and police investigate. Avoid the area if possible.

UPDATE: Victims killed in I-10 at Transmountain crash identified

A Dodge Ram and a Honda CRV slowed down for construction vehicles that were ahead. Police said Kevin Jack Key, 55, was driving a 2014 Kia when he became distracted and crashed into the Honda, which then collided with the Dodge Ram.

Family of couple killed in I-10 crash seeks over $1 million

The complaint, filed March 2 by the Austin, Texas-based law firm Zinda & Davis, PLLC, also names Jack Key Motor Company Inc. and Jack Key Kia Group as defendants. It alleges Key was “operating the vehicle at the direction” of the company and “was in the course and scope of his employment” at the time of the crash.
