Five people were sent to a hospital after a six-car accident at the Highway 281 interchange in Pharr. The crash took place Saturday around 5:30 p.m. Five people were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One child suffered a broken nose. Police say rain played a factor in the accident.
