TxDOT: Causeway reopens after woman killed in crash
DPS troopers say one woman was killed when a Mercedes Benz and a Ford utility van collided on the eastbound lanes of the causeway headed toward the island around 8:30 this morning.

The deceased woman has been identified as 55-year-old Janet Evelyn Goggan of Laguna Vista, according to Lt. Johnny Hernandez of the Texas Department of Public Safety.
