One Man critically injured, taken to hospital, after his car strikes a fire hydrant on West 30th in Houston, and overturns.

Police are investigating after a driver flipped his car over in northwest Houston.

The accident happened on West 30th near Durham.

Authorities are not sure how the man crashed but his vehicle did hit a fire hydrant sending water all over the place. So far, there is no word if speed or possible drunk driving played a role in the crash.

The driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
