Police are investigating a fatal wreck that occurred just before midnight Saturday in northwest Houston HOUSTON -- Police are investigating a fatal wreck that occurred just before midnight Saturday in northwest Houston. Police say the driver of a Mustang was speeding on Railhead Lane when the driver of a gray pickup truck pulled out at Golden Spike Lane and the two vehicles collided. Officials say the driver of the pickup truck left the scene, and the driver of the Mustang was pronounced dead. Witnesses say the driver of the Mustang may have been under the influence of alcohol, but authorities are still investigating.
