The text can lead someone to think the truck ran into the car. Nothing of the sort happened. The car was going at a high rate of speed down the ramp from 290. For some reason, the driver didn't see the truck that was moving much slower. The car went at full speed into the back of the truck. The impact bent the safety bar on the back of the truck. The car must have raised up in a flip motion and slammed the back door of the truck, denting it. The front and left sides of the car were ripped off. The truck had done nothing wrong and the truck driver was visibly shaken over the incident and appeared to be in shock from it. The report needs to be more accurate.

Thanks for your comment, Anonymous. Can you please clarify which part of the text needs to be more accurate? Neither our report nor the source material imply any fault on the part of either driver. If you can point out which part of the text makes it sound like the truck driver ran into the car, we can do our best to change it. The only thing we can't change are quotes from the source material, since they are not our words. Jane, ADC staff
