Car plows into playground and strikes woman
The car went through a fence and drove onto the playground area. Harris County sheriff's deputies said a woman at the park saw the car and pulled a child out of the way. The car hit the woman in the leg. She was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. The child also was taken to the hospital to be checked out, sheriff's deputies said.
