Hit-and-run driver leaves pedestrian dead in NE Harris County
Wolverton said a woman told investigators she was driving along the road to go to her church when she saw a man who was dressed in black clothing walking along the roadway. As she passed him, the man slapped the side of her car. The woman called her daughter, who was driving in another car behind her mother, to alert her about the pedestrian.
