Man killed in pedestrian collision with two vehicles on Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) in Houston, Texas
INVESTIGATION INTO FATAL CRASH AT 7700 SOUTHWEST FREEWAY
The victim attempted to cross the mainlanes of the Southwest Freeway and was struck by a white Toyota 4Runner. A wrecker driver in a white Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck traveling on the northbound lanes witnessed the accident, exited the freeway and re-entered on the southbound lanes. As the wrecker driver approached the accident scene, he unintentionally struck the victim.
