Motorcyclist killed after police chase leads to collision with car in Montgomery County.

Authorities are investigating a deadly wreck Thursday morning.

Officials said it all started with a police chase involving a motorcycle. The chase came to an end at Texas 494 Loop and E. Martin Drive around 7:30 a.m.

Police said a Mustang sitting at the intersection was rear ended by the speeding motorcycle. That crash forced the Mustang to spin around and hit a pickup truck facing the opposite direction.

Officials said the man on the motorcycle was tossed from the bike. He died at the scene.

Police believe the motorcycle was stolen.

The investigation is ongoing.
