Instead of pulling over, the driver sped up and led the deputy on a high-speed chase that lasted nearly 20 miles along Highway 57. Another deputy was able to put spike strips down along the highway near Rural Route 187 in Batesville. The truck's tires hit the spike strip, lost control and rolled over several times.
