Octaviano Luis Longoria Espinosa, 23, killed, after his motorcycle hits a curb and and some rocks in the median of Sonterra Boulevard in San Antonio, throwing him onto the roadway.

A man died late Tuesday after running his motorcycle off the road on the far North Side.

Octaviano Luis Longoria Espinosa, 23, had been riding his 2001 BMW K-series motorcycle westbound just before 10:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Sonterra Boulevard, according to police. Espinosa hit the curb and rocks in the median caused him to fall off his motorcycle and land in the roadway.

Police said Espinosa was not wearing a helmet.

He was pronounced dead at the scene just before midnight.
