A man was struck by a white sedan while trying to cross I-10 near the Colorado Street exit downtown, according to Laura Lopez, a spokeswoman with Texas Department of Transportation.

SAFD responded to the call around 6:20 p.m. and the scene took around two hours to clear.
The man was pronounced dead on scene.
