SAPD investigates fatal wreck on NE Side
Police say there were no witnesses to the accident, and only found Gonzales after someone ran over a traffic barrel on 410.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, Valerie Gonzales, 25, was driving in the eastbound lanes of Loop 410 near Perrin Beitel Road around 3 a.m. Saturday when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into some guardrails before slamming head-on into a cement barrier. Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene.
