A man suspected of stealing beer was struck by a car on West Commerce Street in San Antonio, Texas

A man suspected of stealing beer was struck by a car on the West Side late Tuesday night.  A woman ran out of the store and approached the man with a pack of beer. When the pair ran off together the man was then hit by a vhicle.  The two got up and continued to run but were never located. The accident took place just before 10 p.m. on West Commerce Street near N. San Joaquin Avenue.
