Two-vehicle crash at area highway intersection leaves one dead
One person died Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash between Bryan and Caldwell.
The accident happened at around 8 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of State Highway 21 and FM 50 as the driver of a vehicle in which five people were riding attempted to turn left from northbound FM 50 to westbound Highway 21, the Department of Public Safety told KBTX-TV in Bryan.

Trooper Jimmy Morgan with the Texas Department of Public Safety said Monisha Borugadda, 24 of College Station, was a passenger in one of the cars involved in the crash. Morgan also said Borugadda was a student, but didn't known if she attended Texas A&M or Blinn College.
