Woman killed in car accident in Bountiful

Police say they found alcohol in the car and are investigating the crash as a possible DUI.

“When we look at the factors in this crash, when we look at the passenger not wearing a seat belt, the driver possibly being intoxicated, this crash is 100 percent preventable,” Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said.
A woman was driving on Interstate 15 near 400 North in Bountiful, Utah when her car crashed into the back of a parked construction worker's truck in the work zone at around 3 a.m. A passenger in the vehicle, Sarah O'Connor Green, was not wearing a seat belt, and she was ejected from the car and died on scene. The car driver, Misty Davis of Sandy, was transported to the hospital and is facing felony charges pending toxicology results.
