Woman critically hurt in Highland crash
The woman was a passenger in a vehicle that rear-ended a minivan at 5300 West and State Route 92, said Lone Peak Battalion Chief Ben Bailey. The minivan "appeared to be stopped at a stop light" when the crash occurred at 1:30 p.m., Bailey added. A medical helicopter flew the woman, who Bailey estimated to be in her late 60s, from the crash site to the hospital in critical condition.
