The 87-year-old man was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 89 when he rear-ended a Chevy Duramax at the intersection with U.S. Route 50, said Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lawrence Hopper. The man, who was driving an Escalade, was traveling about 75 to 80 mph at the time, Hopper added. It wasn't immediately clear whether the cafe was open, but no one was reported injured, Hopper said.
