3 people, likely juveniles, subject of police manhunt when they fled the scene of a car crash in Salt Lake County.

Police are searching for several juveniles Friday morning after they fled from police and crashed a car.

Police say an officer say the car speeding down 3800 South near 2200 West just before 5:00am. The officer tried to pull the car over, but the car sped away and crashed into a pole. At that point, West Valley Police say three people jumped out of the car and took off.

West Valley City Officers say the three in the vehicle were likely teenagers. Police set up a containment area and are using dogs to search for the juveniles.

Officers say the vehicle is registered out of Salt Lake City and say officials are working to find out whose car it is.
