West Valley City police identify elderly victim in crash
Police have identified an elderly man killed in a crash in West Valley City late Wednesday night.
Joseph Jones was driving south on 6550 West around 9:15 p.m. when he made a left turn in front of an oncoming vehicle that struck him. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle, a 23-year-old female, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
