Wearing your seat belt doesn't guarantee that you will live, people go on about how if she would have been wearing her seat belt she would have loved and she wouldn't have and I know this for a fact

Seatbelts increase chances of survival by over 50%.  Not only do they help the person that is strapped in but it keeps bodies from flying around the inside of a vehicle at whatever speed the crash was - do you want someone traveling at 40mph hitting you in the head?  If you're the driver, if you get hit by someone or fly out of your seat you can no longer steer, brake - anything.  Many reasons for everyone to wear seatbelts, I want everyone strapped down and even heavy objects like tools strapped down - you never know when some fool is going to crash into you.  Stay safe and live long friends!
