Police identify bicyclist fatally struck by vehicle in Chesapeake
The man was identified as Michael Law, 62. Officer Kelly Elliott, police spokeswoman, said Law was staying at the Bowers Inn nearby the crash.
Detective Dorienne Boykin said officers responded to the 4500 block of S. Military Hwy. around 8:30 p.m. for reports of a man hit by a car. The driver of a 2003 GMC Envoy said he did not see the bicyclist when he turned onto Military Highway.
