Mount Vernon woman injured in hit-and-run collision

A 61-year-old Mount Vernon woman was transported by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after she was struck by a vehicle Thursday night near the intersection of Highway 20 and Farm to Market Road, about 4 miles west of Burlington. The collision occurred about 11 p.m., according to a State Patrol news release.
