The Bellingham man, who has not been identified, was driving southbound on I-5 in the left lane when his Kia Optima veered to the left, passed through the median and ran head-on into a Dodge Ram driving in the northbound left lane, said Sgt. Mark Francis with the Washington State Patrol.
