One person was killed and another seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a collision on Highway 9 in Snohomish. 

Driver in crash might have run red light, police say

Just before 3 p.m., he was struck by a southbound Audi driven by a 47-year-old Snohomish woman, according to police.

Police believe that another driver, a 47-year-old Snohomish woman in an Audi, may have run a red light before striking Gonzalez Salas Mitsubishi.

The adults sustained injuries from the T-bone collision about 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of 56th Street and Highway 9. The surviving adult was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. A sheriffs office team is investigating the crash.
