Our KOMO News Photojournalist was first on scene at the accident and was told by witnesses it appeared a man and a woman riding the same bike crashed into the side of a Sound Transit Bus as it was going through the intersection.

According to Seattle police, a man suffered life-threatening injuries, while the woman suffered serious injuries. Both were transported to Harborview Medical Center where the man later died, police said.
