Toddler killed in riding lawn mower accident

"It's what appears to be a tragic, freak accident," Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo told the Herald.

A Whatcom County toddler was killed this weekend when his grandfather accidentally backed over him with a riding lawn mower. Jack Joseph Kelley, who was about to turn 2, was playing in the yard when his grandfather on a riding mower backed over him.
