Starr was headed east on Birch Avenue at 9 p.m. when the Chevrolet Malibu he was driving struck the unoccupied Pontiac Grand Prix, according to a State Patrol news release. A third vehicle, also parked and unoccupied, was struck by debris from the crash.

A White Swan man was killed Tuesday night when the car he was driving hit an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot of the White Swan Trading Post, the Washington State Patrol reported. Nicholas Starr, 34, died at the scene, in the 100 block of Birch Avenue in White Swan, troopers said.
