The crash happened about 9 p.m. in the 2000 block of Memorial Drive. Witnesses said Spencer was driving southbound when he missed a curve, crossed lanes and left the road. The vehicle went over a guardrail and dropped about 30 feet into the creek, landing top-down in the creek on the east side of Memorial Drive.
