Gary L. Metcalf, 62, dead after flying through windshield in pickup-semi collision on I-90 near Baraboo, WI

At about 12:47pm, Metcalf lost control of his westbound pickup truck and veered over the median into the oncoming lanes, where it was hit by a semi-truck on the right side. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, and this caused Metcalf to be thrown from his pickup through the windshield, leaving him dead at the scene. The semi-truck came to rest on its side in a nearby field, and its driver, Michael Adam Babosh, 53, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
