Officials ID man killed in four-car crash near Wisconsin Dells

One man is dead and two others are injured after a pickup truck crashed into another vehicle on the highway near Wisconsin Dells Saturday morning. The driver of the pickup truck, 51-year-old James Thompson, from Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, was  killed in the crash, according to a release. Two occupants of the white van, David Monte, 58, and Linda Monte, 56, of from Franklin, sustained minor injuries, officials said. A red Ford pickup truck was going east on Highway 12/16 just before noon when it crossed the center line, striking a westbound white Chevrolet van head-on. The truck continued eastbound and uphill, vaulting to a final rest on nearby I-90. Debris from the crash struck two other vehicles traveling eastbound on the interstate.
