Man dies after kayak accident in Horicon

A 62-year-old man has died after a kayaking accident in the Rock River in Horicon. Russ Saunders said authorities got a call at about noon Tuesday about a possible drowning in Horicon Marsh. His cause of death and the cause of the accident weren't immediately available. The Beaver Dam Daily Citizen reported that authorities arrived to find the man and family members along the shore, and CPR was already being performed. Emergency crews took the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
