Tiffany Dane, 49, was struck and seriously injured by a hit-and-run vehicle while crossing at South 34th Street and West Lincoln Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Dane crossed the street Friday night around 8:50 p.m. at South 34th Street and West Lincoln Avenue to get a frozen pizza. That's when Milwaukee police said she was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Lincoln Avenue before the driver took off.
