A quick round of snow moved through southeast Wisconsin early Thursday afternoon, making roads sloppy and possibly contributing to a crash on I-94 eastbound at Highway 164 in Pewaukee.
The crash occurred about 1:20 p.m. and two left lanes of I-94 eastbound were closed until just before 3 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash, but details, including the number of vehicles involved, were not immediately available.
Forecasters called for one to two inches of snow accumulation from noon to 4 p.m. in Milwaukee on Thursday, with lower amounts near the Illinois border, according to the National Weather Service.
The snow will return late Friday night and Saturday morning, bringing two to three more inches to the Milwaukee area.
