Sheriff's office: Plymouth woman walking on road shoulder struck, killed by rolling SUV

The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department says the crash was reported just before 7 a.m. The sheriff's department identifies the victim as Barbara Wegner of Plymouth. TOWN OF PLYMOUTH, Wis. — A 56-year-old pedestrian has died after she was struck by a sport utility vehicle that lost control on a frost-covered road in eastern Wisconsin. The victim tried to get out of the way but the SUV rolled on top of her and killed her. Sheboygan Press Media reports a 2002 Ford Explorer was westbound when it started to slide onto the shoulder, where the woman was walking.
