A Chicago hospital patient stole an ambulance, crashing it in Ozaukee County, according to the Sheriff's Office.
A 23-year-old man stole an ambulance in Illinois and drove it Wisconsin before crashing it on Interstate 43 near Port Washington. After the crash on Interstate 43 a passerby stopped to assist the man, resulting in him stealing the passerby's car and driving away. The ambulance thief was eventually arrested and taken to a hospital afte he suffered from a medical issue. The incident is still under investigation.
