Mary Meyers-Nelson, 73, of Silver Lake was cited for inattentive driving for the accident that injured James Harmon, 46, of Carpentersville, Ill., according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
According to the release, Harmon was with a crew from LB Communications conducting work on utility pole cable and phone lines when he was struck shortly after 1 p.m., Tuesday near 7645 County Highway B (288th Ave.) in the Town of Salem.
Harmon, who was flown by helicopter to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa after the accident, is in good condition, the sheriff's office said Wednesday.
Meyers-Nelson was not impaired and cooperated fully with deputies, according to the release.
