2 killed, 3 injured following law enforcement chase

Sheriff's officials say two people have died and three others have been injured in a crash following a law enforcement chase in Jefferson County. Chief Deputy Jeff Parker said Wednesday an officer tried to pull over a vehicle near Watertown when the driver took off and the pursuit began. The State Patrol and state Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting with the investigation.

Those killed in the crash have been identified as: 17-year-old Donovan Cagney and 17-year-old Bradley Chavez.

2 teens killed, 3 hurt in crash had ties to Watertown High School

Three juvenile females were taken to hospitals after the crash, according to the release that did not provide condition reports on the three.
