According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, a motorcyclist involved in a crash at the intersection of Indrio Road and Johnston Road in St. Lucie County, was taken to Lawnwood Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver of a Dodge pickup was traveling eastbound on Indrio Road attempting to turn left onto Johnston Road, stated the release.

One person was killed in a crash Monday morning in Vero Beach, according to local police.

Officials said the wreck occurred just before 6 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 60 & 82nd Avenue.

At 6:30 a.m., only one lane was open in the area.

The name of the victim has not been released.

Osvaldo Andarcio-Valdes didn’t stop when he allegedly caused a crash with injuries on Sunday afternoon in West Palm Beach, according to a probable cause affidavit.

The Palm Springs man also didn’t stop when he allegedly caused a second crash a few blocks away.

Andarcio-Valdes wasn’t done yet. While being questioned regarding the crashes, the 37-year-old man allegedly offered deputies $1,090 to “make this go way,” according to the affidavit.

A 20-year-old West Palm Beach man is facing criminal charges after police say he lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into a parked car, injuring his child who was in the front unrestrained. Amonzo Shelton was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Sunday and released under supervision Monday, jail records show. He faces charges of driving with a suspended license, reckless driving causing serious bodily injury, and child neglect. Riviera Beach police were called around 12:15 p.m. Sunday to the 700 block of West First Street in response to a traffic crash.

A driver was taken to the hospital after his red Mercedes crashed along Village Boulevard early Friday morning.

Investigators said the man's vehicle went through a guardrail, over a canal and then about 50 more yards before landing on its top near Cumberland Drive.

The driver was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in critical condition.

At 5:30 a.m., the northbound lanes of Village Boulevard were closed.

Three people were taken to area hospitals after they were hurt in a Wellington crash involving multiple vehicles this afternoon.

The crash happened shortly before 4 p.m. at Southshore Boulevard and Pierson Road, said a spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

Crews arriving at the scene found four cars involved with multiple injures. Two people were taken to Palms West Medical Center and one was taken to Wellington Regional Medical Center.

A Wellington woman has been arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. Deputies say that just before 11 p.m. Thursday night they were called to Summit Blvd and Congress Ave about a possible DUI driver. Investigators say that they found Jennifer Sorgie sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven with the engine still on. Deputies say that her Dodge Durango had extensive front end damage and a blown out tire.

One person was hurt after a head-on crash early Wednesday morning near Port Mayaca. At 6:30am rescue crews responded to the 14977 block area of US 441 for reports of a sugarcane truck accident. First-arriving crews found heavy damage to both vehicles, according to Cpt. Albert Borroto with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. A man was taken to Lakeside Medical in Belle Glade for treatment.

A 65-year-old man is in critical condition after being hurt this afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in suburban West Palm Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

Victor Aponte, of West Palm Beach, was driving in the area of Meathe Drive and Jog Road when his Toyota collided a with a Cherolet Express van shortly after 3 p.m. He was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Medical.

Martha Aponte, 60, was a passenger in the Toyota and she was taken to St. Mary’s with minor injuries. The driver of the van was identified as Robert Rivera, 64, of Port St. Lucie.

A woman died when she drove off the road and into a Delray Beach canal on Friday, after heavy rains caused flooding which concealed the edge of the road and body of water, authorities said.

The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office was investigating the incident at Via Flora and West Atlantic Avenue.

The woman died at the scene.

Heavy rains and flooding closed roads and schools and destroyed several cars and homes in Palm Beach County Friday.
