A 20-year-old York County man was killed Monday night in a head-on crash on Wolf Trap Road, a Virginia State Police spokeswoman said.

Christopher Michael Crawford, of the 100 block of Winsome Haven Drive in the Seaford area of the county, died from injuries after being ejected from his 2003 Nissan Sentra during a head-on collision in the 1500 block of Wolf Trap Road, a State police spokeswoman said in an email.

State police were called to the area after 10 p.m. to assist the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office with the two-vehicle crash, police said.

One lane is now getting by on the New Jersey Turnpike after a car-carrier truck accident that injured two people.

Officials say a box truck and a car-carrier truck collided on the Turnpike in Mount Laurel, New Jersey early Monday evening.

Officials say at least two people were hurt in the crash though they have not yet revealed how serious their injuries are

Only one southbound lane is getting by near mile-marker 36 on the Turnpike as officials continue to investigate.

A deputy pilot with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has been suspended and an investigation is underway after a speeding Camaro barreled down a runway and crashed into airport antennas

A Hillsborough County volunteer deputy was with the pilot in the volunteer's car when it lost control on a Tampa Executive Airport runway and drove into the antennas of the Instrument Landing System on Saturday, according to a HCSO report.

The volunteer, William Nelson, was driving the car, his own personal 2013 Chevrolet Camaro.

A Federal Protective Service vehicle flipped over in a two-car crash in northwest Baltimore.

It happened at the corner of Liberty Heights Avenue and North Rogers Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Monday.

According to the Baltimore City Police Department, a vehicle allegedly ran a red light, striking the FPS vehicle and causing it to flip over. The FPS officer was not injured.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the local hospital. There was no word on their condition or identity.

A 19-year-old man died after he was struck by at least two cars while crossing the street Monday morning in north suburban Lincolnwood, police said.

Rescue crews responding to a crash about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Kostner and West Touhy avenues found the man lying in the street, having been struck by at least two cars, Lincolnwood Police Deputy Chief John Walsh said.

The victim was apparently trying to catch a bus and was already down when the cars hit him, Walsh said.

Akron Police said a man crashed his car drunk and then hid in a drain pipe in Akron Saturday.

Bradley Zaryki, 45, of Cuyahoga Falls, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, failure to stop after an accident and failure to control.

Police said they responded to a report of a one-car crash at East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue and Front Street in Akron after a northbound car swerved off the right side of Front Street and drive through a guardrail just south of the Cuyahoga River.

A 22-year-old Denver snowboarder died Monday morning after he crashed into a tree at Copper Mountain.

The Summit County Coroner said the crash happened around 9:30 on the Vein Glory run, a beginner trail.

The snowboarder, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to St. Anthony's Copper Mountain Clinic.

The victim's name was not immediately released. His death is under investigation.

At least eight injuries were reported when a car and a Metro bus collided downtown on Monday morning.

Police stated that there were 11 people on the No. 33 Glenway/Western Hills bus when it hit a westbound car at the intersection of Sixth and Main.

The car was shoved off the road onto the sidewalk, knocking off a fire hydrant along the way.

The bus driver and the car's driver were taken to hospitals for treatment. At least a half-dozen passengers were transported to UC Medical Center to be checked out.

The first car of an MBTA Green Line train crashed into the tunnel wall after derailing just west of Kenmore Station this afternoon. Seven people suffered minor injuries, and the tracks in the area are to be closed for the rest of the day, authorities said.

The derailment happened between the Kenmore and Fenway stations, fire department officials said in a tweet.

Boston EMS spokesman Nick Martin said the seven injured would be transported to the hospital shortly. Many of the injured reported back pain, he said.

A one-vehicle crash in Wyoming County late Sunday night led to the arrest of a Castile man accused of having a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit, Wyoming County sheriff’s officials reported.

At about 11:20 p.m., Perry village police and sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash site on Pattridge Road in the Town of Castile, where they found an overturned and unoccupied Dodge Ram. Police later located the driver, 35-year-old Jason M. Redfield, on Lower Reservation Road, where he admitted to having been the driver, officials stated.
