A 21-year-old man suffered a fractured pelvis in a traffic collision Friday night at a University City intersection, San Diego police said.

He was driving southbound on Towne Centre Drive and turned left in front of another vehicle at Executive Drive, police said.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 45-year-old man, was not injured. He had been headed northbound on Towne Centre.

A 49-year-old woman was flown to shock trauma Friday evening after a single-car accident on Ady Road in Dublin.

Dawn Christian Hoerr, of the 500 block of Chestnut Hill Road in Forest Hill, was driving a Kia station wagon south on Route 543 near Heaps School Road around 6:20 p.m., according to the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack.

Witnesses said the car was swerving "all over the road," police said.

The car went off the right shoulder, overturned and went down into a creek that was at least 30 feet off the road, police said.

One man is dead after an accident involving three vehicles in south Louisville.

According to the Jefferson County Deputy Coroner, Ricky Duncan, 54, was driving a Ford Escort at Outer Loop and Third Street around 7:30 a.m. Friday when he lost control of the vehicle and hit the back of a Jeep Patriot that was sitting at a red light.

The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to hit a Honda Odyssey that was also waiting at the light.

Duncan was transported to University of Louisville Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A man stole a truck at gunpoint downtown, fled from officers, crashed and then tried to steal other vehicles before being arrested near Boeing Field this afternoon, police said.

An adult male suspect stole a white Ford pickup truck from its driver at Second Avenue South and South King Street after threatening to kill him shortly after 1p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department. The man then fled southbound from Pioneer Square in the vehicle.

The Greenwood Police Department was involved in a short pursuit Friday night.

Officials say the pursuit began around 6:45 p.m. at the Greenwood Park Mall. Officers say the driver of the car, 41-year-old Danissa Moss of Indianapolis, and 57-year-old James Townsend of Indianapolis,reportedly stole perfume from Von Maur.

The pair was spotted leaving the mall, so an officer tried to block the exit. However, Moss drove around the officers and took off north on US 31 at more than 100 miles per hour.

Hurst police say a fatal crash involving a dump truck will have traffic tied up along northeast 820 through rush hour Friday.

According to the Assistant Chief of Police, the exit from eastbound North Loop 820 to the southbound lanes of East Loop 820 is expected to be closed until at least 6 p.m. after a fatal, rollover crash.

Police have released few details other than that it appears to be a single-vehicle, fatal crash that took place shortly after 2 p.m.

In the crash, the dump truck rolled over on its side and spilled a load of dirt.

Just after 6 a.m. on Friday, a crash on State Road 67 near County Road 700 West claimed one life and injured another.

Officials report a 2005 Dodge van driven by Dakota L. Burnette, 26 of Oolitic, was traveling southwest on S.R. 67 as a semi driven by Timothy D. Stines, 44 of Bedford, was traveling northeast.

For unknown reasons, Burnette crossed the center line and sideswiped the semi. The van then spun partially off the highway as the semi came to a stop partially blocking the southbound lane of S.R. 67.

The driver of a tractor-trailer was injured in a rollover accident late Friday morning, Oklahoma City police said.

Officers say the accident is half a mile south of Southwest 89th Street and Sara Road. The northbound lanes have debris on them, crews said.

Crews extracted the driver of the semi who was transported to a hospital. The severity of his injuries are not known.

An Annapolis man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle while walking southbound on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie early Friday morning.

At around 4:30 a.m., Gilbert Gabriel Buchacz, 60, of Annapolis was hit by a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado near Phelps Avenue in an area where there were no pedestrian control devices, Anne Arundel County police said. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Early investigation found that the main cause of the crash is pedestrian error. Police said excessive speed and alcohol were not factors.

The investigation is ongoing.

A car crashed through a health food store at a strip mall on University Boulevard South on Friday morning.

Jacksonville Fire-Rescue transported a man and woman who were inside the store to a nearby hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known. The store manager said the injuries weren't serious, but the customers were mostly in shock.

Police said an older woman accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, driving through Southern Nutrition Center, near Barnhill Drive.
